Vans Salinas Longboard Festival 2012

Salinas, Spain 26-29th July, 2012
This weekend the Salinas Longboard Festival will celebrate old school style and long-standing tradition during the 11th Annual Vans Salinas Longboard Festival.
This is a chance for everyone to relax, kick off your shoes, turn of your mobile phone, or even leave it at home! Post up your tent or park your van and let the worries of the world just pass you by. This weekend nothing except surfing matters, just surf and more surf!!
There will be a `single brand competition´ with all entrants riding Takayama Scorpions, a classic mini longboard, which the organizers will provide. Two of these remarkable boards will be awarded as prizes! Then there will be a classic Log competition; single fins only, minimum board weight 5 kgs, and NO leashes allowed… Old School style! And finally on Saturday the 28th and Sunday the 29th the traditional open Longboard competition will take place.
The festival will be at Gauzon IV during the day, but the big music festival stage will be down the beach a bit to the west.
