Years of skate?

14 years.

What was the first thing you saw that made you want to be a skater:

Marty Mac Fly in “Back to the Future”.

What were the best trips you went on, thanks to skateboarding?

The Reunion Island for the tourism and a demo organised by EuroDisney: Free fast pass for all the park!

How is it to hang out with the rest of the team?

Cool!

What is your daily life like?

At first a big breakfast, a big lunch and a big dinner. After 4 hours teaching at school, I’m free to skate, snowboard, or surf in a river. I never forget to chill.

A perfect day, what would it be?

Surfing the morning perfect waves, discovering a good bowl in the afternoon and land all my dream tricks on the vert in the evening. Finally, enjoying the night...

Do you skate street sometimes?

Yes , but never for a longtime.

What are the main differences between street and vert?

It’s easier to fly with a back side air than with an ollie! You never see vert on the skateboarding magazines (except in UK). Despite vert is less traumatic, it scares a lot of skaters.

Does it help to be tall when you’re a vert skater?

I think it’s an inconvenient until you find a board which is long enough (minimum 33”). After that, height doesn’t matter anymore.

Which feeling/trick is the best in Skateboarding?

Mac twist.

What do you do when you’re not skateboarding?

Surfing, Snowboarding, Fishing, Teaching biology and hanging out with my girlfriend and my dog.

What do you like the most in the Vans shoes?

The Silverside which provide adherence and acute sensibility. Thanks to the bee nest!

What would be your life like without skateboarding?

A frustrating life.

What does really matter in life?

Hang to your dreams and enjoy every day.
