Years of skate?
9.
What was the first thing you saw that made you want to be a skater?
My older brother got a skateboard for Christmas and it went from there I suppose, I still skate with my brother now...
What were the best trips you went on, thanks to skateboarding?
I would probably not have been to any of the places I've been to in the last 4-5 years if I never started skating so theres loads. If you're with the right crew, every trip is good! But China and Australia/New Zealand are 3 of the epic ones.
How is it to hang out with the rest of the team?
Everybody gets on real well, some of the guys I've known for a while but it's like the whole current team has been together for decades! And I'm sure many more to come...
What is your daily life like?
Start with the normal routine: I wake up, shower, eat , drink a coffee and then every day is pleasantly different.
A perfect day, what would it be?
Nothing's perfect… ha ha ha!
Are you a true Ginger, or is it a hair-colour you did?
It was bound to happen eventually i've been hanging around with Ross and Oliver for too long, I got infected...ha ha!
What kind of living you expect on this planet for the next decades?
Much more of the same I hope, but 15-20 years from now I'm sure I'll just be skating transistions. I won't be able to throw my torso down stuff anymore...
How is Birmingham for skateboarding?
It’s a big city and there's lot of spots but security and police are tight so sometimes you have to get out of the centre to get an undisturbed session. Anyway the scene is good and the talent is thriving. Ideal, the skate shop in Brum moved location and got a undercover mini ramp which is a god send for the winter(cheers lads).
What do you do when you’re not skateboarding?
Well, I do a lot of things in one day and most things have something to do with skating or at least board in hand...
What do you like the most in the Vans shoes?
The sole is the secret but the shoe's in general are good you can take a pair out of the box and have a good skate that day... It's not the same as buying a pair and having to wear them in for a week.
What would be your life like without skateboarding?
I wouldn’t be here filling out this profile so theoretically I don’t exsist to answer this question… Ha ha! Probably at uni getting an extended education and not experiencing the world.
What does really matter in life?
Life itself!
