Where, when and why did you start snowboarding?

My first time ever was in Tandådalen, Sweden. It was probably 14 years ago, I think I was 7 at that time. I remember I fell asleep in the car while our family was driving to the resort, I woke up and we were there. Mom and dad had stopped on the way and bought 2 boards to share. The only hard part was that the board was 150cm, and I was not very tall...

When did you realize you want to become a pro snowboarder?

I think when I was about 12 or 13. I was like a full time gymnast, but at that age I realized gymnastics was pretty gay, so I quit and figured I had to become a pro snowboarder.

What’s your favourite terrain right now and where do you want to improve in the future?

My favourite terrain is probably a nice slushy park with tons of different features. I think I want to improve everything as much as possible. In the future, when my body will be old and weak, I’m not going to improve my street skills anymore, then it will probably be backcountry.

What’s the best thing about being able to film with the Pirate Movie Production crew and how long have you been working with them?

I’ve been filming with Pirates for 2 seasons now, and the best thing I guess is that you ride with good, funny crews, and you get to film your own video part which has always been a dream.

Who are your influences in the sport itself and in life in general?

I don’t really have any special snowboarder that influences me; I get inspired by all riders who have good steeze, skills and personality. In life, I think it’s Travis Pastrana cause he never quits anything, he brakes bones and have set backs etc. but he keeps pushing it!

Does your gymanstic background helps you with your snowboarding nowadays?

Ha-ha, yeah it does, but I actually think it’s pretty good for any sport, at least I’m sure it didn’t do any harm. ;)

Why are there so many Scandinavians on top of the game in the shred world?

Hmmm. I don’t know really, maybe we just like snowboarding a lot here...?

Braveheart or Sweetheart?

Haven’t seen sweetheart... so I guess braveheart.

Ziggs or Snus?

I’m trying not to like any of them even though it's hard.

Beer or Moonshine?

In the sauna or at the beach: beer. To party: moonshine!!

Steak or Vegimate?

Steak.

Hammock or 5star hotel?

5star hotel for sure.
